Contact Us
Kubana provides culturally responsive academic support, family-school navigation, mentoring, community connection, and practical family support. It also supports school development and education in Nakivale Settlement, Uganda.
Kubana works primarily with immigrant and refugee scholars and families. Washington programs focus on school-age youth and caregivers; the Nakivale project serves refugee children and their school community.
Kubana’s Washington work is based in the Kirkland and Seattle area. The Uganda program supports a school community in Nakivale Refugee Settlement.
Kubana needs consistent tutors, mentors, parent educators, and volunteers with program, fundraising, operations, and partnership skills. Contact the team to discuss current needs.
